WILLIAMS' POV

My eyes opened wide in shock. I was stunned to hear him want to talk about her or maybe he was mistaken and only wanted to talk about someone else.

Every part of my senses was at alert as I hoped and prayed that he was not mistaken and that I had heard him correctly. He had said Bella and there was no way I could have heard incorrectly.

He chuckled and relaxed into his chair with his gaze fixed on me. I sat down once again and waited for him to repeat himself.

“Of course, Bella. She is our staff right?” he asked.

“Oh, sure she is....
