"Will you go out with me to a friend's birthday party?" Jordan suddenly said, taking Olivia by surprise

"Um, Jordan... I don't go to parties" she shyly replied

"Oh, you don't have to worry, it's just dinner at his house. You two have already met"

Olivia was confused by Jordan's last statement. She wondered what friend of his she must have met, then it hit her.

"Justin?" she asked to be sure

Jordan only nodded in reply

"Well, I don't think I'm the best option for that. You can take your girlfriend with you, you know?" Olivia said

Jordan wasn't expecting such a reply from Olivia. He just kept staring...
