"Thank you for tonight, Kate. I really enjoyed our time together," he said softly.

"Me too, Erlan. Thank you for making tonight so special," I answered, reluctant to part.

Erlan smiled and nodded. "See you tomorrow, Kate. Rest well."

"Erlan, how about you come in and dry your clothes here? I can give you dry clothes temporarily," I offered when I realized his clothes were still soaking wet.

Erlan looked embarrassed. "I don't want to bother you, Kate."

"It's not a hassle at all. Come on, I won't let you go home wet like this," I insisted with a confident smile.
