Lucius’s POV
I got up in the black, and my mouth was like metal. It appears my body was in chains. I attempted to sit up, and there was a stabbing ache behind my eyes, as the room shook. I could not even know where I was. The bed. The curtains. The usual smell of my room.
But something was off.
Totally wrong.
My breathing was ragged. “Where… where is she?” I whispered.
Silence.
I got myself on my knees, although I was dizzy. I could feel tight in the chest with a certain feeling I was not inclined to say.
