Rina’s voice trembled from behind the glass door.
Devandra stood before the tall window of his office, staring at the gray skyline. His hands were buried in his pockets, jaw tight.
“Who pulled their investment?” he asked, his tone flat.
“Mr. Richard from Falcon Capital,” Rina replied nervously. “They said… the company’s reputation is unstable after news about the failed merger leaked to the press.”
“Leaked?”
Devandra’s tone sharpened like a blade. He turned abruptly, eyes blazing. “Who leaked it, Rina?”
“We don’t know yet, sir. But there’s a strong indication it came from inside. We’re still tracing...
