“Thank you so much for taking care of me, young Miss.” My dad's secretary said and I nodded.

“And I'm so sorry about what happened to the chairman.” He added.

“Oh, It's actually nothing. Besides, if there's even anyone to thank, it should be you. For waking up strong and healthy.” I replied with a small smile.

I moved closer to him on the bed as I handed him the bouquet of flowers I had come in with earlier. He collected it with a smile and muttered, “thank you.” While I just nodded.

“I'll come to visit the chairman as soon as the doctors permit me.”...
