Seriously, I never imagined Victoria would be staying away for this long when she told me she was leaving for Manhattan to fetch her son.

I shook my head, immediately dismissing the thought. I didn't want to believe that Brandon had actually succeeded in convincing Victoria to be with him... and that she had agreed.
