"Hey, babe," Val's voice crackles through the receiver, and my heart skips a beat. "How are you feeling? What was the result of the appointment?" He first of all asks.

I can barely contain myself and the joy inside of me. "I'm feeling amazing! You won't believe what just happened at the hospital," I reply, my voice trembling with excitement.
