I apologized again to the old man, before stepping into the middle of the crowd.I dialed Nic's number.

"How many shadow guards did you take for me?" my opening question when he answered the call.Why will I say?"

The annoyance immediately lived in my system. I don’t have time to guess.

Just the other day I confessed to him about it. I doubted why he knew what I was doing outside the office.

"I hired a shadow guard for you." He replied. "It's for your protection, honey."

In that regard, he obviously knows everything. He just can't say.
