I was awakened by sunlight coming from my bedroom window.

I rolled my eyes and yawned. I scanned my room and realized something ...

Has the color of my room changed? As far as I remember it was a mixture of white and purple, but now it is a mixture of black and gold.

Not out of my sight were the hanging abstract paintings, the large vase at its chin, the black sofa and the large glass window, as well as the sliding door that divides the bedroom and terrace.

I hadn’t noticed these things before. And one more thing, my room seems to have grown a bit....
