It was almost noon when Lisa returned home. The gatekeeper welcomed her and told her the children had left for school. "And the director?" Lisa asked. "He went out a few minutes ago." "Few minutes ago? He ought to have left earlier for work. At least Margret is there to fix the kids for school."

"He seemed furious yesterday night, he sent Margret away. I am not sure of his whereabouts. He was casually dressed when he went out this morning. He told me to give him a call when you returned.

Lisa had left her bunch of keys behind when she left the previous night. She would have preferred she be left alone until Alex returned. She was sore and her body ached from the previous night's ordeal. She needed rest. She wasn't sure she was up to face Alex right away.

The gatekeeper put a call through to Alex while Lisa relaxed at the bar within the compound. She was tired and battered.

"Where is she?!" Alex shouted at the gatekeeper as soon as he rushed in . "She is at the bar," the gatekeeper responded and Alex rushed over. He called out her name but there was no response.

He rounded a corner and saw Lisa seated at the bar with her head on the table. He walked closer and said. "I am sorry, I should have dropped the keys, it slipped my mind... I went to some of your friends in search of you. Where were you all night?" He asked and took his seat beside her only to realize she was fast asleep.

Alex remained beside her and wondered how he would make her stay.

"Alex, Alex, Alex!" Lisa cried out from her sleep. "Lisa?" Alex called out and shook her slowly. Her eyes flung opened and she heaved a sigh.

Alex lifted her into his arms and carried her towards the mansion.

"What do you think you are doing!? Put me down... you bastard! You can't have me this time," Lisa yelled and decked a hard blow on Alex's chest as she jumped down from his arms".

Alex flinched and yelled in pain. Lisa ran towards the bar and hid behind one of the chairs. She peeped through.

"Ouch! Lisa, it's I. What's wrong? That was painful!" Alex said and clutched at his chest.

Lisa sighed at her foolishness and stood up to face her husband. "Good it's you, but why did you carry me? You could have woken me up. Sorry about hitting you." She said and walked towards the door.

Lisa made a go for her bedroom but Alex called from behind. "Lisa, you ain't hiding in there today, we need to talk. If you go in there I will come in and we would have sex all through the day. It's not an empty threat. I mean it."

Lisa stood still. She was burning with anger but kept mute. Suddenly, she felt Alex's arms wrapped around her. She struggled to get free but her strength was no match for his.

"Did you stop because I threatened you with sex? Don't you miss me? Did you hate me that much to abhor my touch? Have you forgotten? You usually squirm at my touch... I know it's all you want now," Alex spoke coyly into her ears. It tickled her and she struggled to get away. Alex wasn't done. He kicked the door to her bedroom open and said, "I want you go in there and give it to me hot and crazy. I have missed you."

Lisa could not take it anymore. she granted as memories of the different occasions she had caught him with Marie flooded her mind. The humiliation was strong, strong enough to strengthen her to turn around.

She wiggled out of Alex's hold and turned to face him. She spat at his face and yelled, "how dare you?! How dare you play on my emotions? How dare you lie to me?!"

"It's not a lie that I have missed you," Alex said and cleaned up his face. "We need to talk," he said in a whisper.

"Yes, essentially but not now, I am tired, I need some rest. When I am awake we'd talk," Lisa replied. "Alright, accepted," Alex replied like a gentleman whilst Lisa laid down on the largest sofa in the sitting room.

She was just beginning to enjoy her sleep when she woke up suddenly. Her sleep was filled with noises from familiar voices. She opened her eyes and saw Marie dragging it out with her husband. Lisa sat up and watched the two silently.

"You son of a bitch! You took off for a whole week and lied you were attending a function. Is this your function? Don't tell me you abandoned me for this old cargo. Not even at this time when I am carrying your child. I am sure by now she must have informed you about my pregnancy," Marie yelled.
