“You are leaving.”, I pouted at him, when the movie finished and he stood up on his feet to leave for his home.

“This cute expression is not going to work on me.”, He laughed at me. My childish behavior was amusing him and I couldn’t help but laugh and smile being around him. Immediately Derek zoned out, and I started waiting for him to end the mindlink with whoever he was talking to.

“Is everything fine? You look tense.”

“Adams was here. I had appointed a few guards over here who informed me about it since they are not able to reach you.”
