LILY POV

The sound of an approaching vehicle had derailed my my train of thoughts, and had instantly caused me to regain my alertness. I looked to my left and noticed it was the bus going towards my direction and as I grabbed my bag to board in, I recalled the taxi driver’s advice and I immediately withdrew my movement. I sat back on the bus bench and had waited for a different bus that was taking a different route to town and as I waited, my phone rang, it was my boss from work.

“Hello..”

Lily, where are you?”

I’m really sorry sir… I’m at the bus station waiting...
