ELENA'S POV

It felt like a dream. The one person I had been trying to protect, lying in there, in a coma. I had failed…again. I was allowed to stay with him throughout the night, crying my heart out and begging him to wake up.

My parents rushed down to the hospital the next morning, seeing their house turned upside down.

“What happened Elena?”, A frown appeared on my dad's face, walking in to meet my red puffy eyes with big black circles underneath.

“Oh my God Elena, baby. Are you okay?”, My mom pulled my lifeless body into a hug, with words of comfort, that did not even pass...
