Today made it exactly a week since Ria and I exchanged eye contact at the diner the other day.
All my texts went unanswered this time, unlike before.
I stared at the lit up screen, displaying the last text I had sent her. “Can we please talk?”, It read.
For some reason, sleep evaded my eyes as they gloomily stared ahead in a brooding silence.
The clock had just ticked twelve in the morning, making it exactly six hours left to have my night's rest.
