“Sir, we have probable cause to believe you're smuggling drugs into the country. We'd like to search your bags.”
I stood up to my feet. "Drugs?” I asked the officer in charge. “I think you’ve got the wrong guy.” I told him.
He frowned. “Sir, we called out to you and you ran. That’s not something an innocent man would do.”
I pretended to adjust my zipper. “I had to use the restroom.” I lied.
The captain seemed quite convinced that I had drugs in my bags. Because of our growing voices, we soon attracted the attention of everyone in the waiting lobby of the airport.
