The man's eyes narrowed as he stepped closer to me. "You really don't remember, do you, Elena?”, a proud glint flashed through his face while I shook my head severally, glancing at every inch of his seemingly familiar face, the harder I looked.
“I knew I shouldn't have let you leave”, he continued, with a tinge of regret in his eyes.
