Rosalyn mumbled incoherent words under her breath as she made her way back to Jaylen's room with Adriel's clanking heels putting her on the edge as it made noise behind her. Opening up the door, she had hoped fervently that the view would sink Adriel's heart. Unfortunately, Jaylen was on his feet standing by the window, while Lorelei sat on the couch.
