Jaylen frowned at his computer screen, his brain hardly reading meaning to whatever he was staring at. For days he had been working like a zombie and adding little to the internal meetings the company has been having.

This were moments he felt thankful towards Rosalyn for always being able to read the room and knowing just about what to do. If there was a need to meet with international investors, it would have been a big mess with the way his head stayed unsettled.

“Hey you." Rosalyn called out from the door as she smiled widely at him.
