"I sincerely apologise Alpha Damon " I said and I refused to raise my eyes I was too nervous to even move.

"Is that all you know how do best ? " He asked .

" What ? " I asked biting my lower lip.

"Look at me in the eye when talking to me " he said and I shook my head .

"It is forbbiden to do that Alpha Damon, I am an Omega and it is my duty to do exactly as my superiors have asked me to " I said camly .

"Yet you refuse to look me in the eyes" he said and I froze on the spot when I felt him getting close .

"Look at me when I talk to you " he said and I gasped when his rough hand grabbed my chin lightly and raised my face to meet him .

"Why are you so scared ? " he asked staring into my eyes I tried to look away and he held me in one place .

" I.... need to clean and leave " I said and he smirked .

"Go ahead" he said and went back to the couch, my eyes stung with unshed tears as I bent down to clean .

I was conscious about everything because he had his eyes on my every move deep down , I was scared to even breath in his presence .

"Where are you going to ? " I heard his voice making me bow my head immediately .

I am done with my work here Alpha " I said and an uncomfortable silence filled the room immediately.

"I want you to clean my room from henceforth " he said and I raised my eyebrows .

"Sir I am not assigned to clean your room, I work in the kitchen I am not supposed to show my face to the Alpha " I said almost fainting from the fear that enveloped me .

"Who is your Alpha ? " he asked as his eyes glared daggers at me.

"White " he called and I couldn't help but admire the way my name rolled out of his tongue .

" My king " I said in submission .

"You are to clean my room from henceforth I want you here first thing in the morning and before you go to bed at night " he said and I couldn't help the shocking expression on my face.

How do I even explain to ma'am Elise that this wasn't done intentionally, what if she thinks I was trying to climb the social leader by finding favour in the sight of the Alpha king .

" You are dismissed " he said and I bowed before making my way out of his room immediately .

I can't show my face to the Alpha ever again I'm pretty sure he would have forgotten about me by tommorow morning .

As I lay to sleep, the horrible nightmares woke me up again.

The next morning I was in the kitchen with Gina when a loud noise came from outside .

" What is going on ? " I asked In suprise and she sighed .

"I'm pretty sure another case has been brought to the Alpha " she said and when her eyes met mine, my eyebrows raised in question, she sighed .

"Since we do not have a court that settles disputes here, the Alpha king takes over every decision making with his elders which consists of the seven elders from different packs and Cephar the seer "

"Most importantly women are not allowed in the court room " she said and I frowned .

"Women are not allowed in the court room " I said trying to hide the fact that I was shocked to my bones .

"The pack has laws that have existed for ages. Women are not allowed in the decision making process of the pack, women are not allowed to become soldiers or lead the war fronts" She said and I frowned .

"So what are women supposed to do? " I asked curiously.

" Seat at home and make pups " she said and I felt the feeling of disgust .

"Make pups ? That doesn't define the life of a woman I think it is gender bias for anyone to think that way " I said feeling sad .

"Well that is how things have been around here, the men make the decisions and the women follow. Now enough with that conversation " she said trying to change the topic .

" I feel so sorry for her " one of the maids said coming in.

"What is wrong ? '' ma'am Gina asked curiously.

"A werewolf decided to join the soldiers and when she wasn't allowed because of her gender she thought it was best to end her own life, It is just so sad that she feels stuck in this pack " the maid said making my heart sink .

"I don't understand why the men are allowed to choose but the women are not allowed " I thought to myself sadly.

If I had any influence in the pack, I would have brought about a positive change in this aspect but then, am only a poor Omega who has no say in the afairs of the pack .

The day went by smoothly, suprisingly I managed to stay out of trouble .

On my way to my room I met Beta Jayden and bowed in respect.

"Good evening Beta Jayden " I said and he smiled.

"White, I see you are healing fast" he said as his eyes went over to my leg .

" Pretty slow for a werewolf though " he said and I rubbed my arms nervously.

"Where are you heading to ? "He asked and I blushed .

"My room " I muttured under my breath. Beta Jayden was indeed a fine man with a gentle attitude .

I don't know what the moon goddess have in store for me, but if ever I wanted a mate, I wanted him to be gentle and kind, like Jayden ? My mind asked and my cheeks went into a darker shade of red .

" Have a nice evening white " he said and I smiled as I watched him leave .

Beta Jayden was nothing like the Arrogant and brooding Alpha Damon who had me on my toes without even trying, the man is the definition of scary.

My mind went over to the fact that he wanted me to clean his room every evening before going to bed but I ignored it and looked away. There are other maids to do that, why does it have to be me ? I can't continue to walk on egg shells around him I prefer doing my job as an Omega from a distance.

I got to my door and froze on the spot when I saw the woman from the previous day, I nearly died from the shock .

". .... Good.. morning... I mean good evening ma'am " I stuttered out due to shock .

" You must be White " she said trailing her eyes from my head to my toes .

" I am White " I said and she stared at me suspiciously.

"You never told me you work for the kitchen department " she said accusingly.

"I tried to tell you, but you wouldn't listen" I said and she scoffed .

"The Alpha has asked for your presence in his bedroom, you are supposed to clean his room every evening, I got scolded tonight because you did not report to his room! "She said angrily.

"I do not work for the cleaning department, my duty is to serve in the kitchen " I said and she gasped.

"Shut your mouth! We all report to the Alpha, irrespective of our different departments you don't stand there and argue with me! " She fired angrily.

"I sincerely apologise " I said biting my lower lip to control my anger.

"Keep your apologies to yourself and make sure you report to your Alpha ! "She bursted angrily .

"I will start reporting to his bedroom tommorow " I said and she glared daggers at me .

"Are you dumb or you are acting dumb? "She asked sacarstically making me frown angrily.

"I will report to him " I said again and she walked infront.

"Get your equipments and go over to his room " She said and I rubbed my arms.

For some reason I felt hatred towards the Alpha, I did not like the fact that he was trying to control me .

Taking slow strides towards his room with the cleaning equipments, I took a deep breath in and out before making my way into the large bedroom .

Just like the previous day, I did not see any reason why he was hell bent on frustrating me. I bite my lower lip and began to clean up his room .

"This man is a Devil " I muttured under my breath in frustration, It was quiet evident that he wasn't in the room .

I froze when I heard the sound of the rushing water from the bathroom, my eyes widened and I made a mental note to control my words.

Beads of sweat rolled down my head as I wiped the floor I gave up and made to leave .

"You do not leave until I ask you to White !" I heard his voice which sent chills down my spine.

"I have finished cleaning already " I said and he stared at me .

"It is interesting how you always have words to back up yourself White " he said walking over to the closet .

I stood rooted on the spot as I watched him like a movie, the towel lay dangerously below his waist and I could see the tattoo of a wolf on his arm, his hair was wet from the time he spent in the bathroom .

"I came to clean already " I said and he turned to me .

"You came because I asked somebody to get you, Are you trying to disrespect me White ? " He asked staring at me, his face void of emotions .

I opened my mouth to say something but words failed me instantly.

"You will report to me whenever I need you, I am your Alpha " he growled making me bow my head Immediately .

" I ..... am sorry " I managed to say as my heart pounded crazily against my chest .

"Can I leave now ? " I asked softly and he smirked at me immediately .

"Go on your knees and clean the floors " he said and my jaws dropped.

"But I already cleaned everything , I ...." his eyes met mine and I shut my mouth immediately.

He walked over to his dressing table and got what looked like an oil can I watched him walk around his luxirous room as he poured it everywhere, my eyes stung with unshed tears as I stared at him .

"I might have been enjoying your defiance White, but in this place you do as you are told without questioning my authority. Now get on your knees and clean " he said and threw the can on the floor.

I watched him walk back to his closet and hot tears gushed out of my eyes as I sent my hand to my mouth to stop the sobs that threatened to escape them.
