Marcus pulled me close to him. I felt my cheeks reddened.

 

"Joseph commanded me to watch over Lea," Arkand simply said without a trace of concern or fear on his face. Isn't he afraid of Marcus?

 

"Then what are you doing here beside my mate if you’re guarding Lea?" Marcus asked, irritated. Arkand just shrugged his shoulders in response. My eyes widened as I can feel him tightened his grip on my arm.

 

"What's happening here?"Joseph asked us. Marcus looked at him and glared.

 

"The fucking problem is your beta, Joseph!”Marcus angrily said. “Talk to him. I don't share what's mine! Tell him to fuck off!"...
