His beady eyes shone even brighter basically in confusion.
“When did you get the picture?” he asked.
“A few weeks before Guilia’s wedding,” I replied, masking my hurt under a casual tone.
The sender was anonymous which I was grateful for or he’d have paid for the consequences of another man’s sins.
Pain, jealousy and anger sliced through my heart when I saw the picture of both people that should be important to me locking their lips. I was devastated, but I couldn’t do anything about the stupid feeling of betrayal that didn’t want to go away.
