The back of my head throbbed with a burning pain that didn’t want to stop no matter how many angles I tried to keep my head in. Worst still, when I turned again, I felt a twinge on my neck. It intensified with the breeze grazing against it and then I forced my eyes open.

It had been shut for a while, maybe hours or days, but I couldn’t keep up with time because of the ache that didn’t stop spreading throughout my body.
