The bickering, quarreling and sulking didn’t stop even when he dropped me gently on his bed in one of the grand penthouses he owned in Seattle.

“What are we doing here?” I snapped, my voice thick with anger as I shot to my feet.

He ignored me and walked out of the room, the door closing behind him.

I ran to the door in a bid to open it, but alas, he had it under lock and key. Spurred by fury and frustration, I banged on the door with all my strength until I heard the click of the key in the keyhole.
