Michael looked at her flushed cheeks, furrowing his brows. He checked her forehead again, puzzled. "It seems like the fever's gone down. Why is your face still so red?"
The more he questioned, the redder Rianne's face became. She quickly pushed him away, stammering, "Nothing... it's just a bit hot."
Michael's expression grew serious. "Even if you're hot, you can't be exposed to the wind. The doctor said you need plenty of rest."
Perhaps it was the good night's sleep, but Rianne felt refreshed and didn't sense any discomfort.
"It's not that serious. I feel like I can get out of bed now."
