Michael had always been proud and self-assured, and the word "substitute" was enough to shatter a person's pride and dignity.
"Is that so?" he persisted, unwilling to give up.
Rianne lowered her gaze and replied coolly, "It doesn't matter anymore; we're going to get divorced anyway."
Michael tightened his grip on her wrist, his lips barely moving as he spoke, "Rianne, how shameless can you be? Marcus already has a fiancée, and you still have the nerve to try and break them up like before?"
