They arrived at Timothy’s penthouse, she didn’t utter a word, and this worried him.

Her gray eyes were no longer tearing up.

He hated himself and considered himself one of the drops that filled Melody’s cup of feelings. He had made her leave, got her to her parents’ house and suffer.
