I laid sprawled on the bed lost in thoughts. She said she believed me but what if she didn't? What if she was just trying to make me feel better and then turn her back on me later on?

"You'll have to believe her, Derek," Darren advised and I sighed.

"If she says she believes you then I guess she truly does. Our mate is not one to sugar coat things. If she hates you, she will tell you immediately and if it's the other way around she will also let you know."
