"Do you think they are going to show up?" I frowned, looking worried.

We've been standing for over 30 minutes now yet no one has shown up.

I was beginning to get scared that our first meeting was going to be a flop. If no one showed up then there was literally nothing else we could do.

"I'm certain they will eventually show up."
