It was a beautiful day. The sky was bright and a cool sweet breeze was everywhere. Outside it was sunny as well but not hot. The little butterflies were roaming from here to there, dancing on flowers and leaves.

Sitting in the living room of their apartment Pallabi was scrolling through her phone and checking an entertainment gossip site. She was doing so when she came across a picture. The caption was ‘Anika Agarwal at a dinner’. Pallabi was familiar with that smug face. She was no one else except Pallavi's step sister. Apparently Anika had also become quite popular as a model within the last year but still she wished she would never see that face again. Pallabi was lost in her thoughts when a notification came into her phone.She swiped the notification panel down and read its contents, it was an email. She tapped on the notification and opened the mail to read what it said. It was from a company called ‘Raizada Industries' . She quickly read the contents of the mail. As she read through, it was then she remembered that she had sent samples of her architecture designs to mostly 12 industrial companies in India with about 5 of them based here in Mumbai. The email said that she had been selected for a last round interview . Pallabi needed the job badly so she was so happy seeing this." One Step Behind" Pallabi muttered. She checked the clock on the wall. It was 8am . Today at 10.30 she had to go to "Raizada Industry" for the last round interview. She quickly went up to her room and got ready in a formal dress and quickly called a cab and left for Office . In 30 minutes, Pallabi had gotten to the Raizada Industry's main building . It is a luxurious building which has 48 floors and also has a very good architecture. Pallabi left a heavy breath .

This building was like her father's . Suddenly her father's face came to mind. Her eyes filled with water . " Hello Mam . How can I help you? '' The voice of the receptionist made her come into the real world. Pallabi controlled her tears and gave a smile and said " I am here for the last round interview" . " Do you have any appointment , Mam?" The receptionist asked . " Yes, I got an email this morning , here is this" Pallabi said and showed the mail. " Alright . This way . Please" the receptionist said and led her the way . Pallabi followed her.

Within 5 minutes they were standing in front of a big Glass Wall corridor where more than 25 people were waiting . " Here we are. " the receptionist said and left, giving her a smile.Pallavi sat on a chair and waited for her turn. It's been 1 hour and Pallabi was getting too tense and nervous when she heard someone calling her name.

"Ms. Pallabi Agarwal? Please come Inside" a formally dressed lady called. " Yes Mam .I am Pallabi Agarwal" Pallabi stood up and answered. " This way " the lady indicated to a glass door cabin. Pallabi confidently walked to the door and looked at the words written on the door 'Interviewing Room'.

Pallabi knocked on the door and asked"May I come in?" It took 2 minutes to get an answer from inside "Please come in" . Pallabi entered the room. The room wall was made of transparent glass. Pallabi looked at the wall which was facing outside . The overall scenario was so beautiful .

Pallabi looked at the office desk where 5 interviewers were sitting. " Hello Sir , Hello Mam " Pallabi greeted them. " Take your seat please, Miss Agarwal," one of the interviewers said. Pallabi looked at that person; he was an approximately 26 years old young man . Pallabi smiled and changed her eye direction. " Miss Agarwal, why are you here today?" Another interviewer asked. This question at first trembled her but within a second she controlled herself and replied " I am here today to prove myself and become a part of Raizada Industry" . Hearing this answer a smile came on everyone's face. Pallabi's confidence made them numb for a few minutes . "You can leave now, miss. Please wait outside for a bit . We will soon announce the result. " one interviewer said. Pallabi was nervous as she already noticed every interview before her took more than 10 minutes but her interview took only 4 minutes. Pallabi stood up and bowed and left the room.

Pallabi was now regretting for her straightforward reply but now she has nothing to do without waiting.

After 30 minutes a lady came out from the interviewing room with the result. Everyone was anxious for the reply so they gathered towards the lady .

" Everyone, thank you for coming here today. You all are so talented and precious gems but we have our requirements so we have to select only 5 people and they are Navin Mehta , Sunaina Sekhawat, Pallabi Agarwal, Gaurav Singh and Aditi Roy . These 5 candidates have to stay for further process and others can leave for now. Thank you." The lady said and entered the room again. " Omg! Yesss..I did it dad" Pallabi muttered and waited along with the other 4 .

After some time , other 4 members already signed the contract and left and now it's Pallabi's turn. Pallabi went inside and Soon they started to discuss her terms of employment and other details . Pallsbi's every answer was so accurate and it pleased everyone the most. " You can start work from tomorrow as an assistant architect, '' the main interviewer said . Pallabi was so excited after hearing it. " Thank you so much." Pallabi said . " You can go now. See you tomorrow as a member of our team." One of the interviewers said . Pallabi stood up with a beautiful smile and thanked them profusely again and made her way downstairs happily.

Pallabi was excited because Raizada Industry was one of the most highly rated bussiness company in the Industry and many newcomers dreamed of getting an entry here but Pallabi got it so easily. She was walking towards the main entrance and she left the office. Pallabi entered inside a park. She mostly comes to this park when she is happy. While walking on a grassy path suddenly she tripped on a person and her bag fell to the ground. Without looking at the person said “Sorry for bumping into you" and kneeled down to collect her things which were scattered on the floor from her bag. She knew it's her mistake as she was lost in thought and didn't notice that someone else was coming in which led to a collision of both of them. "I am sorry too" a male voice said.This voice is so familiar to her . She quickly looked up and noticed he had already started to walk far from her into the heavy crowd but still she could see the side of his face which was quite Handsome . At first she was amazed by his look but within a second something struck her mind. It was no one else than the person whom she had been looking for for the last 10 years.
