Lester tells me that Carina went to a party, her first social event since she got back.

"What? She went alone?Didn't Pear go with her?"

"No, Pear was next to me."

I held my forehead, "Didn't Carina worry about being surrounded by people at all? After all that's happened, people are going crazy with curiosity."

"It's also your fault for simply having a conference and then never talking about such things again."
