Thank God I'm alive.
Once again I woke up in a hospital room that smelled like sterile water, this time next to an unfamiliar face.
It was a fisherman who found me on the beach, and she was the first to take me to the hospital, where it was good to know that I only had some weakness and malnutrition. My strong sense of survival made me tell the fisherman in a weak voice not to call the police when I first woke up, and I didn't want anyone to know I was here.
