Helena stared past me and looked away as though I was invisible. So did Maria. Apparently, they were expecting me to explode or do something dramatic to express my grievance and frustration. Well… not Victoria anymore. They were about to see a new version of me, and I would shock them so badly they’d be scared.

So, I ignored them just the same and called out to the chef, Felix. Everyone addressed him as Chef Fe.
