I pulled the towel tightly around me as I walked down the hallway. I tried not to think about the exchange with Six, or Bianca and her mission in this house.
I needed time alone—time away from all of this. The house was quiet as I walked to my bedroom.
My room was dark when I entered. The heavy curtains were still drawn, letting no light in. I shut the door behind me and leaned against it, breathing in the silence.
