Few minutes later, Jemima and Silvia Sterling stepped out of the church hall ,one after the other with marriage certificates in their hands.

Jemima looked at the marriage certificate in her hand and heaved a sigh when her phone suddenly vibrated.

A series of messages appeared on her screen. She took out the phone and had a look.She noticed that the messages were from her stepmother,Valerie Brown.

Valerie Brown wrote, [where on earth are you? Are you trying to humiliate our entire family like this!? Come back home at once! If you make me angry, you are going to regret it!]

[You think you have the wings to fly like an eagle now? I want you home in fifteen minutes,If not ,don't blame me for being vicious to you!]

As Jemima read the messages from her stepmother, her eyes hurt. Then, she curls her lips into a miserable smile.

‘Isn't this family so vicious and greedy that they are willing to sell her off like a piece of trash? If this is what they want ,then she's going to let them have a taste of their own antidotes.

Jemima locked her phone and quickly placed the marriage certificate in her bag. Then, she took out a pen and paper and wrote down her number and stuffed it into Silvia Sterling's palms.

"Dear Aunt, I'd like to make a move first. Here, this is my phone number, you can call me with this number later. I have to go back home and prepare some things."

"I'll send someone over to get you back to the mansion when you're done with your work" Silvia said with a smile.

She immediately got into the car without waiting for Silvia Sterling's response.

The taxi she entered immediately left the scene. Jemima popped her head out of the window and waved at Silvia. "See you soon, Aunt Silvia!"

Immediately after, Silvia kept the marriage certificate and walked across the road to a limited edition, luxurious Maybach.

In the car, Silvia Sterling's assistant, Carlos Carter, was stunned. He looked at Silvia Sterling approaching the car in a daze.

He had not recovered from the shocking scene he saw a moment ago. His boss was smart and hardworking.

She was the Boss lady of the City and every person's dream mother, yet she allowed her son to get married to a lowly lady! Carlos was baffled. How did that girl do it?

"Close your gaping mouth." Silvia Sterling swept Carlos a glance and passed the marriage certificate to him.

"Send this to the Sterling Diamond Manor."

"Ma'am, even if the elders have been pressuring you to get the young master to have a son, you can't just marry this ugly lady for him!" Carlos could no longer hold back.

He got Old madam Silvia's urgent message to bring the documents over. He ever would have thought that... "Even if you had to find a random woman to shut the family up, it shouldn't be her. Miss Morris will be returning to the country soon. You could..."

"She is the most suitable person. Nobody else has dared to get married to my son in the last two years even though we offered everything as betrothal gifts' ' Silvia Sterling raised her eyebrows.

Her deep-set eyes were rather cold. Even if this young girl did not love her son and was willing to get married to him without hesitation.She might as well keep her close to him while he lived.

"Look up her background and get back to me."

"Yes," Carlos replied embarrassedly. He took a look at the marriage certificate and unintentionally saw the photo.

His eyes suddenly widened! Not really that funky lady just now.

At the Forrester Mansion.

"Achoo!" Jemima Forrest sneezed the moment she got out of the car.

It seemed like the universe was also trying to warn her that she was going to have a troublesome day... She lifted her head and looked at the building which seemed familiar yet strange to her.

Her expressions darkened. She still had to put on an act. It was time for her to shine!

Jemima was at the door when she heard a fierce old man's voice coming from inside.

"Valerie, I have been waiting for an hour! Why is your daughter Jemima not back yet? Is she trying to run away from me?"

"Of course not! Mister Penty, my daughter truly wants to marry you and only you. Once she is here, we'll do it according to the initial plans and get everything done."
