The village was quiet, only sound of crickets and a little moonlight from above.

Mary had returned back to the village, she knelt beside Lydia in the small room they’d hidden in.

Lydia’s little hands trembled as she clutched a worn cloth, something of Caius’s Selene had kept hidden all these years.
