Selene's POV

A fight started between the both of us. Killian was strong in terms of strength. He could over power me with his large physique. But I was smart. I knew most of his attacks. I've watched him fight, waiting for a day like this.

I got a moment of distraction and pricked his neck with a small needle.

“What have you done?” he muttered, trying to step forward but fell to the ground instead. He could not move his body.

“That needle is poisoned. You won't be able to move your body, you'll be paralyzed for a short while.”

I looked down at him where he fell helplessly....
