Selene's POV
I sighed for the umpteenth time. By the time I got to the room, they were all asleep.
I let out a soft smile and laid on my bed. We’d all had a long day—from Jaxon’s sudden death, to a supposed mole or murderer, and now Dark suspecting us.
“Hey,” Dara muttered silently.
“I thought you’d slept,” I said from my bunk above.
“I just couldn’t,” she sighed, turning to her left. “My mother left earlier.”
I nodded.
“Did Dark say anything?” she asked.
I sighed out exasperatedly, staring at the ceiling. “I can’t really say,” I muttered. “We should just sleep, it’s been a hectic day.”...
