At Nina and Selena's apartment

The abrupt ringing of a cell phone sounded in the living room.

It made Selena who was engrossed in watching a K-drama turned to check if it was her phone ringing. On realizing it was not hers but Nina's, she raised her voice towards the kitchen and called out, "Nina, you have a call!"

Nina's voice also floated out from inside the kitchen as she asked who the caller was.

Selena somewhat unwillingly got up from where she sat and went to pick up the phone placed on the settee. She however paused when she saw the caller ID.
