I stood frozen when I heard the familiar voice, and when I turned around, I saw him. “Henry! How did you find me?”

“There was a commotion at the training camp and they said you are missing. What’s going on, Chloe?” he asked and there was a hint of anger in his voice. “Why are you here in the city when you are supposed to be training in the camp?”

“Are you angry?”

“Who wouldn’t? You left the pack without saying anything to me! You didn’t even care about our daughter! What’s gotten into you? Are you already bored being my wife?”

“No, no, that’s not true, Henry....
