I had woken with a terrible fever, spoken to Carol about it, and found Kai blooming, just around the corner, right up the time he found out about his true powers and there I was, totally worked up…I recalled giving a speech in remembrance of our fallen ones.

I still got the cold feeling, something was up, my senses picked them up even from a mile away and I could not help it, the mere fact that everything was my fucked up problem all caused by me.
