Anna's POV

I wake up in the morning hot and uncomfortable, but I feel Jake behind me, and the mate bond immediately calms me down. I think Jake pulled me in closer to him. I breathe in his scent. But what about that dream? I need to talk to my mom. I look over at Jake and see that he's still sleeping. I slip out of his arms and out of bed. I sneak to the door without making a sound. Then CREEK. Blast that stupid floorboard. I hear Jake shuffle around under the covers.
