Anna's POV

I sit on the porch of one of the huts waiting for Ethan to come back. I know I should rest, but my mind is too preoccupied with him. I want to make sure he's alright. I don't know if he ran back to the pack lands or if he's running around in the desert.

"Come back." I try to reach out to him through the mind link, but I don't hear anything. I look around at the desert village and it looks.. quaint, and sort of nice. I wonder what it's like when it's full of people.
