To Emma's surprise, the rest of the day and night passed too quietly. When they arrived at the cabin, she began to explain to her brother, without too many details, what had happened with Asher. She left out the intimate aspects because they were hers and she didn't think they were necessary to make their situation better. Ethan also explained that he had been asked the same questions, but when he tried to continue the conversation, Emma preferred to stop him. Apparently, they were trapped there, both starving and very tired. It wouldn't help to speculate about what was happening when neither of them had a clear mind.
