The dark sky above the unfinished skyscraper opened up, pouring thick sheets of heavy rain onto the open fifty-first floor. Wind howled through the thick steel pillars, making a loud screaming sound that echoed all across the city. The slick concrete floor was completely soaked with water, turning the edges of the high building into a death trap.

Julian and Marcus tumbled across the slippery floor, rolling right up to the terrifying edge. Fifty stories below, the street lights looked like tiny yellow dots swallowed up by the pitch-black night. A single wrong step or slip meant instant death on the cold pavement far down below.
