I woke up and looked around to see that I was still in the same hospital ward as the day before and no one was around.

Remembering what had happened, my tears started pouring from my eyes again.

Lexi... I had lost her and for now, I was all alone. But I didn't regret my decision to sever my matebond with Theo. He was even worse than Hayden. And I knew Lexi would come back. She had promised me. I only felt guilty to Lexi for not being able to protect myself, and in turn, made her disappear.
