My third-chance mate aka the mafia Alpha, Alpha Aleksander Luciano looked silently at me as if he was thinking about something.

He didn't answer my last question about what he actually wanted from me.

I pretended to be calm but in fact, I was panicking inside.

Everything didn't seem to make sense.
