A vicious smile laced against my face as I watched Nathan trot off with the horses, a scowl on his face.

I moved away from the window and trudged out of the temple.

“You haven’t changed one bit, Elena,” I shouted out, and her jaws dropped as her eyes locked with mine.

“Aurora?” Her shocked whisper was heard clearly by me.

“Welcome to the temple of the descendant and the beast,” I said, forcing a smile into my face.
