My lips parted, and I let out a scream that got Kayla running into my room.

My door burst open, and I clenched unto Kayla, who rushed to me.

“Wolf, wolf!” I exclaimed, pointing at the spot I found it earlier but to my surprise, there was nothing there. Was the wolf gone, or was I hallucinating?

“There is nothing there,” Lisa’s annoying voice spoke up.

“Tell me what happened, honey, calm down,” Kayla muttered, rubbing my back soothingly.

I took in a deep breath and started my explanation.

“I saw a wolf, a huge black wolf, standing right there,” I pointed at the spot again.
