I stood in front of the little cottage staring longingly at it. I can’t even tell how I was able to find my way back to the cottage I grew up in.

It was already getting dark so the labor for the day must have ended. The cold atmosphere and dark clouds overhead predicted a storming shower of rain tonight.

As if to confirm its prediction quickly, it began to drizzle slightly. I shuddered as the first drop of rain came in contact with my pale skin.

The intensity increased yet it wasn’t fierce enough to propel me to the front door of our cottage.
